In the process of evolving from the Police Writers Association to the Public Safety Writers Association, we find that we need a new logo.  And, who better to design it than someone who is (or wants to be) a member?   Better yet, the winner will receive a year’s free membership in the organization, mention on the website and our eternal thanks!   Here are the criteria:

1. The logo must reflect the nature of the group:  Public Safety Writers

2. The logo must look equally good in black and white or color since we’ll be using it both ways.

3. The logo must be able to be nicely reproduced as the return address on stationery or on a large banner. 

4. The logo must be available to us in electronic form so we can also use it on the website.  If the logo is submitted in "hard copy" form, it should be clean and on a material suitable for electronic scanning. 

5. Entries in the competition will be judged by the current board of directors.

6. Rights to the logo will be held by the Public Safety Writers Association.
